Who We Are

TREW: Tulsa Real Estate Wire is an educational media platform operated by Bright Current Media. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information you provide through trew.today and its associated forms.

TREW and Bright Current Media do not provide real estate brokerage, mortgage lending, title, legal, insurance, tax, or financial advisory services. Real estate brokerage services, when applicable, are provided separately by BC Flanigan, REALTOR® with Keller Williams Advantage.

Information We Collect

We collect information you voluntarily submit through the following forms:

• Forum registration: First name, last name, email address, phone number (optional), how you heard about the event, event-specific communication choices, and whether you would like to subscribe to broader TREW updates.
• Newsletter signup: First name and email address.
• Contact and inquiry forms: Name, email address, phone number, organization (optional), inquiry type, and message.

We do not use cookies for tracking purposes, serve advertising, or collect data through passive tracking technologies on this site.

The music and voice controls store your on/off choices in this browser’s local storage. Session storage remembers the music playback position and audio playback state while you move between pages. These settings support the audio controls and are not sent to an analytics service. You can change the choices using the header controls or clear them through your browser’s site-data settings.

How We Use Your Information

Information you provide is used to:

• Confirm your forum registration and send event logistics
• Send TREW educational content and updates if you have opted in
• Respond to contact and sponsorship inquiries
• Maintain records of community engagement and event attendance
• Route a meeting request to the community member you select and retain limited request-status records

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Where Your Data Is Stored

Submitted information is stored in Airtable, a third-party database service. Airtable's infrastructure is hosted in the United States. You can review Airtable's privacy practices at airtable.com/privacy.

Forms are processed through Netlify serverless functions. Existing registration, newsletter and contact workflows use their existing Airtable records. Meeting requests use a separate Netlify Blobs store for limited tracking records: request reference, selected person, source, times, submission status, provider message reference and keyed hashes used for duplicate and abuse prevention. These hashes are pseudonymous identifiers, not anonymous data. Raw visitor names, email addresses and messages are not stored in the meeting tracking records. See Netlify privacy practices.

Community Meeting Requests

With your explicit permission, your name, email address and message are emailed through Resend to the community member you select. A copy goes to TREW operations at bc@trew.today. TREW is operated by Bright Current Media. Your email is used as the reply address so the selected person can respond directly. This request does not enroll you in marketing or confirm an appointment. See Resend privacy practices.

Limited meeting-request and abuse-prevention records are retained until deleted following a privacy request or an operational review. No automatic deletion schedule has been introduced for these records. You can request deletion using the contact details below; including your request reference helps us locate your record. Copies in a selected participant's email account are handled by that participant.

Email Communications

If you register for a TREW Community Forum, we may email you about that event, including registration confirmation and venue or schedule changes. Broader TREW educational content and future-event announcements require the separate optional TREW updates choice. Every marketing email will include an unsubscribe option. We will honor unsubscribe requests promptly.

Contact and inquiry form submissions are treated as implied consent to receive a direct response to your inquiry only. They do not automatically add you to newsletter distribution.

Event Text Messages

When an event form offers a separate text-message option, providing a mobile number and selecting that option authorizes TREW and Bright Current Media to send event-specific text messages, including venue or schedule changes. Message and data rates may apply. Text consent is optional, is not a condition of attendance, and does not authorize unrelated marketing or messages from event partners. Reply STOP to opt out of texts.

Data Retention

We retain contact records to support ongoing relationship and event operations. If you would like your information removed from our database, contact us at the address below and we will delete your record within 30 days.

Your Rights

You may request to:

• Access the information we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate information
• Delete your information from our records
• Unsubscribe from email communications at any time
• Opt out of event text messages by replying STOP

Children's Privacy

TREW events and content are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of 18.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Changes will be reflected by an updated effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
