What changed
Coweta's Community Development Department says applications are available for a new Small Business Beautification and Building Improvement Grant Program.
Why it matters
TREW analysis: A matching grant can help a business address visible building needs, but it still requires owner investment and approval. It is not free construction money or a guaranteed reimbursement.
What to watch
Funding is limited. The City says applications are considered on a first-eligible, first-reviewed basis while funds remain available.
A matching path for property improvements
The City of Coweta is accepting applications for a small-business property-improvement program administered through its Community Development Department.
The official program page says eligible businesses may receive a 50-50 matching grant for improvements such as exterior painting, signs, doors and windows, flooring, façades and accessibility work. The page does not promise that every applicant will receive funding.
Confirm funding before starting work
Applications are reviewed while funds remain available. Businesses should open the City's current application, confirm eligible costs and approval timing, and avoid beginning work based only on a summary article.
The official page directs questions to the Community Development Department at 918-279-7212.

Tulsa will receive $70,000 and technical support for resident led neighborhood projects through the 2026 Love Your Block cohort. Participation details are still pending.
