What volunteers would review

The City of Tulsa is recruiting five volunteers to help evaluate applications for federal housing and community development funding.

The proposals may address homebuyer and rental housing, homelessness, youth services, employment, and related programs serving residents with low or moderate incomes. The City estimates that training will take about 90 minutes.

  • About four proposals per evaluator
  • An estimated one to two hours of review per proposal
  • A review period from early November through December 7

How to express interest

Residents who want to be considered should email the City's Grants Administration office at grantsadmin@cityoftulsa.org by Friday, October 30, and identify their preferred training session.

This is a volunteer civic role. The City's notice does not describe compensation, and it does not say evaluators make the final funding decision.
