What TREW Is Being Built For
TREW is a local real estate and civic information platform. It brings together community forums, market insights, useful reporting, and relationships to help people understand their community and take part in its future.

BC Flanigan revised this platform note to describe TREW's current civic information scope, the people who make it work, and where it is going.
What TREW is
Tulsa Real Estate Wire is an educational media platform built around real people having real conversations. I want it to be genuinely useful to the average Tulsan or Oklahoman, whether they are building a business, making connections, learning about real estate, or trying to understand a civic issue.
That also means creating room for brainstorming, sharing experience, and working through ideas together. My goal is to help strengthen the community, encourage economic development, and explore an ownership economy in which more people have opportunities to own property, build businesses, and create lasting value.
TREW is my way of giving back while helping build something useful with other people. Community experts, local professionals, business owners, nonprofits, and neighbors all have something to contribute.
Connecting the bigger picture to local life
National headlines can add a lot of noise. A national trend does not necessarily affect Tulsa in the same way it affects another city, and a state-level statistic does not explain every neighborhood or business decision.
I think about this through three connected views: macro, micro, and local. The macro view considers broader economic forces and national trends. The micro view looks more closely at particular markets, industries, and investment decisions. The local view asks what those developments mean for people, businesses, and neighborhoods here.
For example, where are businesses investing, which states are attracting them, and why? What can Tulsa and Oklahoma learn from those decisions? Which opportunities fit our communities, and what would it take to pursue them thoughtfully?
TREW aims to connect honest local, regional, and sometimes national reporting to those practical questions. Source-backed articles, contributor blogs, market reports, and community conversations can help people see how the pieces fit together.
Making that work discoverable is part of the effort. We want useful reporting and the people contributing to it to be easier to find through search, with accurate names, clear sources, and meaningful context.
Who TREW serves
TREW serves people who live here and people considering a future here. That includes local and out-of-state buyers navigating the Tulsa market, homeowners following changes in their area, and people making decisions about investing, renting, or building.
It also serves professionals, business owners, and community organizations that benefit from a credible local information network. The conversation extends beyond housing to civic education, employment, business development, and the future of Oklahoma.
I believe expanding opportunities for Oklahomans to own property, build businesses, and create generational wealth can strengthen the state over time. Thoughtful outside investment can contribute to that future, too. The question is how we connect those opportunities with the people and communities already here.
AI can support research, production, and access to information. It does not replace the conversations, judgment, and relationships we share with one another.
The people who make it work
Community experts, partners, sponsors, and resources make Tulsa Real Estate Wire possible. People attend our forums as participants, friends, neighbors, and potential referral partners. Any professional relationship that grows from those connections is theirs to choose.
Sponsors help fund the work. Partners may contribute a venue, a speaker, a resource, a network connection, or other practical support. Those contributions can create visibility and association with TREW, with paid placements and material support clearly identified.
Cityscape Home Mortgage is a venue and production partner for TREW Community Forums. That relationship brings together practical support, education, interest, and enthusiasm.
TREW welcomes community organizations, nonprofits, and local businesses that want to help build something useful. A productive partnership should contribute to the audience's experience as well as give the participating organization meaningful visibility.
If you are interested in becoming a partner or sponsor, the starting point is a conversation about what you would like to contribute, what you hope to accomplish, and what makes sense for everyone involved.

Where TREW is going
TREW is still developing, but it has grown beyond its first two forums. The sixth community forum is scheduled for October 22, 2026. The newsroom is live, the newsletter is in production, and the reports, scheduling, and event infrastructure are in place.
The next phase is about consistency: regular forums, a monthly newsletter, deeper reporting, and stronger connections among the people doing useful work in our communities.
I also want to explore partnerships that could support events elsewhere in Tulsa and Oklahoma, including Oklahoma City. People have asked about bringing similar conversations to other communities. That is an opportunity to develop with local partners, not a claim that those events are already scheduled.
As the infrastructure develops, TREW can also explore helping partners promote relevant events under the Tulsa Real Estate Wire umbrella. Each collaboration would need a clear purpose, agreed responsibilities, and a reason for the community to participate.
Growth is often personal. It starts with meeting someone for coffee, having a good conversation, and saying, "I'd love for you to come to our next event." Those invitations build enthusiasm because they begin with a relationship.
That is the kind of organic growth I want for TREW: useful information leading to thoughtful conversations, stronger relationships, and more opportunities to help Tulsa and Oklahoma move forward.
Let's talk about participating, partnering, or sponsoring.
TREW is produced by Bright Current Media, which handles its media and production infrastructure. TREW is a community education and media platform, not a real estate brokerage. Real estate services are provided separately by BC Flanigan, REALTOR with Keller Williams Advantage, and by other participating agents through their respective brokerages. Participation does not constitute a professional endorsement. Applicable professional and brokerage disclosures remain part of the website's publication requirements.
