What the public source says
Edmond's October 27 recap says Council voted 5–0 for a $250,000 budget amendment for access and safety-control improvements at all five Lake Arcadia park entrances. It also reports a 5–0 approval of an $89,327.87 camera-system purchase.
Separately, Council discussed proposed development-code changes and data-center regulation. The City says no specific data-center development application was considered in that item.
Why it matters
TREW analysis: An approved budget or purchase is a concrete decision, while discussion of future rules is a different step. Reporting them separately helps residents identify what can move toward implementation and what remains policy work.
Status and limits
The recap does not establish that equipment has been installed, improvements completed or permanent data-center regulations adopted.
